Bronze, Edition of 35 24" High
In full regalia, both man and stallion wear their symbols of war and past victories. He, as a Sioux Warrior, must prove himself in battle. His mount, more than a horse, is the embodiment of his manhood. As if a force of nature, they charge to battle. Sensing their foe, he pulls his ride around breaking their gallop and, like an ominous incoming storm, his enemies below perceive the cloud of dust and what must sound like "Whirling Thunder."
